. >> sandhya patel is here with more on the high surf for us. sandhya? >> we are expecting above normal surf in the bay area. this is the latest word from the national weather service. watch out for the dangerous rip currents. there is a storm, a winter storm in the southern hemisphere as you just mentioned, and that has created the southly swell. the risk is for the south facing beaches, so santa cruz, marin county, stinson beach and the big sur coastline. all of the south, south facing beaches with possibility of rip currents. we expect swells anywhere from four to six feet. there are no advisorys or warnings for the bay area or the monterey bay. they just want to let you know that if you do decide to head sot to the beach with the warmer weather, just remember knots to ever turn your back on the waves coming in. inland areas in the low to mid80s. we saw low to mid60s and the fog was still around. these temperatures are going to increase a good 10 degrees tomorrow in most locations. the numbers right now look like this in the 50s and the 60s and only p
