right after he spoke with joe paterno. that of course is a critical piece of information and something that none of us knew till the content of these e-mails was revealed tonight. >> so what do you think should be the legal liability of these men? especially maybe the president? >> penn state is responsible for their conduct. we're assessing their conduct. i have said that while penn state has reached out to me and to other victims and their attorneys, the fact of the matter is that we can't begin to talk to penn state till we have full and complete disclosure. and this, i would believe, is the tip of the iceberg. >> as you know, you heard the statement a moment ago from susan, part of the statement said, good people try to do their best to make the right decisions, as their excuse for maybe why they did not move forward with these allegations in these e-mails. what do you think of that? >> they made a conscious decision to make the wrong decision. they knew and they even discussed in the content of these e-mails, as i've
