where exactly is it in paterson? >> well, it's actually right outside of the historic district, and what's interesting about hinchliffe stadium, it's actually part of the national park that is there now, so it is literally right within the realm of history in paterson, especially since paterson is america's first planned industrialized city. so i grew up two blocks away from hinchliffe stadium, one block away from the great falls, and i was just kind of immersed in history. so i've just been very interested in the stadium for a very long time. >> and what is it that led you kind of to found this movement back in 2002, i believe? >> that's correct. 2002 was when the organization was formed, but in 1997, that's when the stadium closed down. and i read an article about the stadium closing down, and i just started to write to the national baseball hall of fame in cooperstown just simply asking about the stadium, and hinchliffe stadium was in their library's archives, and that charged me to do my own independent research.
