hopefully that will lead us down and investigate a path. -- investigative path. >> if you have more information, call the police department. >> in baltimore city police officer is recovering tonight after an accident in southwest baltimore. investigators say the police cruiser collided with another car around 7:00 this morning near clifton avenue. another vehicle overturned following the collision. officials say those hurt, including the officer, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. you are looking at a live picture of interstate 6. we're told the accident happened at 5:15. at least five vehicles are involved in the crash near southwestern boulevard near interstate 95. state police say several lanes on the inner loop of the beltway are blocked. the crash comes on the heels of another multi-car crash on the beltway this morning. we're told several people were taken to the hospital after the eight-vehicle pileup. the accident shut down traffic on the beltway for about 90 minutes. there is no word tonight on what triggered the crash. a former goodwill employee is in custody tonight charged with
