i'm patrice harris. let's get a look at forecast and talk about that weather. i sllpt through all of this. i did not get a thing or it wasn't in my area. >> that's why it's such a dangerous thing, the timing of this had happening during the don't have time to preppre. it got the warmesttduring the latest part of the night it had a cool aloft and theee are all ingredients that make for unstable atmosphere. the result was severe weather and you see, as we are seeing results of the wind. right now we are waiting for confirmation as to whether or not a tornado ouched down. we heard confirmed reports of 80-mile-an-hour winds. that is hurrican-force winds that puuhed through last night if thaa issin fact thh case. meanwhile the sttrm has moved temperatures are in the mid-55s. we ill climb into the low 60s again today but that will come earlier in the day at 1 or 3:00 in the afternoon. strong winds but nothing like last night. 40-mile-an-hour gusts is still3 possible s we have seen in the western pprt of maryland this morning. what we'rr looking is mild ccnditions but

i'm patrice harris.let's get a look at our forecast as we head into a new week, but first we waat to tell you about a school delay. kent county and queen ann county schools opening 90 minutes late this morning, a lot of fog out there. that could be the reason. meteorologist steve fertig is here with a look at forecast to see what we could expect. there's fog in a lot of places. the most dense fog would be at the eastern shore and we have added another county. kent county to the area list of delays. take a look at the hd radar, and you can see there's not a lot of activity as far as rain is concern. that will change overnight tonight into tomorrow. we do have the fog, and the temperatures that are mild because of the all of the cloud cooer out there. 48 degrees in hager town, 51 in ballimore and 39 deerees, chillier in salisbury. the low pressure center in the gulf coast area, is headed in our direction. that is what is going to bring us the rain, not the front that is pushing through this morning. that f
