both volumes of the patriots history of the modern world and the patriots reader. before i get into "a patriot's history of the modern world, vol. ii" i should announce features his 30 of united states is in its ten-year anniversary this year. it's just amazing to me that was 10 years ago but this book came out and it was 15 years ago that i was working on it. nevertheless the publishers decided to release the special anniversary edition later this year probably in november so all winter i have been up dating patriots history of united states and editing it to bring it up to the presence so that it's been fun. this book came at patriots history of united states. before some of these other books i was thinking about doing a history of the world. one of my favorite oaks of all time is paul johnson's book modern times. not only is it a great study of history but it's wonderfully written and i thought i want to be able to do that for world history. i would like to be able to tell the story of the whole world that way. i've been thinking about this book for a long time
