they have to be able to come home with good war stories that show they have been patriotic. i think what you could see in a comment like this is how hard it is going to be some somebody to come home and their parents are walking down to the country store and their neighbor says what did your son do in the war and the parent said he fixed trucks behind the lines and you can start seeing how you don't have good war stories when you are a non-combatant and that will make it problematic for people who are motivated by people who say the honorable thing to do is fight. last thing here, war time propaganda creates a lot of hate in american soldiers. when you get fired upon, of course, defending yourself causes you to hate the enemy even more. woodrow wilson may be thinking about the war as a way to spread political ideals, for a lot of american soldiers it is a matter of defeating the germans because the germans represent a threat to civilization and they need to be put down. the last thing here is probably harder to see just in terms of the poster and all the different things tha
