hi patty ann. it is already tomorrow here in paris. the rally is just hours away. it is a game changer. there will be dozens of heads of state and a million people expected to march. paris is in the highest state of alert. 17 people were killed by terrorist in and around paris this week it is extraordinary sending an incredibly strong message to the world that this has all got to stop. the manhunt is still on for the wife of one of the terrorist this week, an accomplice of sorts and someone who would have a lot of information. france's most wanted woman. hayat boumeddinene. she has disappeared in isis controlled syria and slipping out of the country a week before the terrorist atrocities rocked this city accident from here to pain via turky and believed to it be in syria. this as people will continue to ask about the security lapses that led to all of this. and how boumeddinene managed to get away given that she would have been on police radar and how the terrorist who killed 17 people this week go

patti ann? >> what are we hearing from the pentagon about the plans to reduce the threats in. >> without giving away too much of the pentagon playbook, the chairman of the joint chiefs martin dempsey says that stopping the attacks requires a global plan. listen. >> what we try to do across this -- you know this swath of radical extremeism that stretches from the fatah and i suppose over to nigeria we try to keep pressure on that network with the sweet of capabilities that we have, whether it's intelligence, building partners in some cases direct action. >> do we need to do more? >> well, i think so absolutely. but that's not to imply we're not doing enough. if you understand the distinction there. we're doing a lot. >> so far those are really the only specifics that we have. the white house has been mostly quiet. patti ann? >> peter, we mentioned the attorney general traveling to paris for this meeting. what more can you tell us about that? >> there's a big meeting tomorrow with international le

. >> reporter: hi, patti ann.his long week of terror and police operations the police job is not over. that search is on for the partner of ahmedy coulibaly. it's thought she's a accomplice to his deadly acts first the killing of a french policewoman on thursday and killing of hostages on friday in the kosher supermarket. the latest word we're getting in various media reports quoting police sources is that she's not here anymore, left more than a week ago from france through spain to turkey and then into syria. if that's the case, then it might be she got word that something terrible was going to go down here and it's better that she wouldn't be in the country. we contacted our own police sources and still waiting on confirmation on that. we'll let you know when we hear about this. this as security ramps up here. you notice the sparkling eiffel tower behind me at the beginning of my broadcast. and right around the eiffel tower, all public places, a lot more security 500 soldiers being added to the mix this weekend
