paul burton from our station in boston says there's so much snow they can't keep up. >> reporter: the digout continues and work crews know they have a lot of work to clean up all the snow before the next storm hits. relentless back-breaking, never-ending snow late into the night, the digout continues. how tired are you? >> exhausted. >> reporter: give she a sense of what the blizzard has been like for you all day. >> it's been a pain in the neck. it's cold out here. i'm tired. my guys are tired. you know just can't wait for it to be over. >> reporter: on dartmouth street vermont national guardsmen remove the mountain-size snow piles before people return to work. more than 600 plows have been busy all day. >> exhausted and pretty sick and tired. >> reporter: narrow snow covered streets make it tough for emergency vehicles to squeeze through. cars are tucked away in caves of snow and the shoveling never ceases. on rooftops and side streets. >> walkways cleaning underneath the cars. >> reporter: more than seven feet of snow has fallen in the city in just three weeks. >> it's heavy now. t
