paul davidson the third was riding his motorcycle, when he was hit by a car in urbana saturday morning. he was not wearing a helmet. davidson was about to receive his architecture degree from the university of illinois later that day. one of america's foremost medical detectives has died of cancer, at age 86. forensic pathologist clyde snow is the man who helped identify the remains of nazi war criminal josef mengele... and later, the remains of serial killer john wayne gacy. he also helped identify the 273 victims of the american airlines jet crash near o'hare airport in 1979. the first man in america to catch "mers" -- middle east respiratory syndrome -- apparently passed it to a man in illinois. the two men held two business meetings. the first "mers" victim was treated at a hospital in munster... he apparently caught it on a trip to saudi arabia. the man from illinois is the third american case, though he didn't actually get sick. authorities haven't publicly identified either man. illinois passed a law decriminalizing most marijuana possession. a new study by roosevelt university
