i'm joined by a veteran prosecutor who knows many of these issues paul henderson.nks for coming on "the beat" sir. >> happy to be back. how are you? >> i'm good. we look at this issue and as with any individual case, journalists, viewers, lawyers will all agree you can't immediately know the full causality and the exact situation. that's what reporting and investigations are for. >> right. >> but in a broader sense, do you think this case cos shine a light on the potential problems and the potential linkages with how these prisons are being run by bill barr and donald trump? >> i think the it already has. i mean, these are tough jobs that many of these wardens have trying to balance out costs against public safety. but it's clear from this case and i think we're having more discussions now that you know, i have concerns as well as many others do about the standard of care in government facilities. and what this means for the trump administration and whether or not there's a shift in priorities through default economics noose privately for profit institutions. that'
