paul, minnesota. >> cooler temperatures are settling in cross the country. >> we turn to nicole mitchell to explain we've seen them rom in the country the last couple of days. if you're in the warm, enjoy it. denver 30 degrees this morning, just a couple of days ago, temperatures in the 70's. ahead of this, we still do, 60's and 70's, even this morning. those are morning temperatures. the current temperature shown right now, but there's big changes as the front has gone through. this map shows the temperature difference from the last 24 hours, so again, kansas city, the city, even a bigger temperature difference than what we've seep last hour, about 24 degrees. that puts us in the 40's this morning versus 60's just yesterday. ahead of this, still the mild air, but that will be changing. we still of the warm surge in the eastern portion of the country, but this cool air coming in from canada as that front has come along will make its way to the east coast. starting tomorrow, you'll see temperatures go down a little bit and even more into sunday. in the meantime, this puts us through the next three d

. >> as paul said, that cyclone has gotten weaker but there are still dangers for people living on the coast. nicole mitchelln tracking this hurricane. >> these are called different things in different parts of the world, here it's hurricane, there it's a cyclone. winds about if he didn't five miles an hour, occasional gusts higher than that. it was reacting with drier air and systems don't like that. it had already started weakening from that category fore strength. now the concern, even winds diminishing, the moisture, some of the average rainfall may be four inches a year in different places and we could get in some place an additional eight to 12, so that means two or three years worth of rainfall in some cases in a short period of time, that flooding now a big concern. heading back to our country, the system that caused the flooding, this one easing obviously. we're focusing on the west coast, because this is a more potent system. this has brought little bits of rain even as far south as california. especially now that this is in the mountainous terrain, places like the central rockies, not in question.
