. >> reporter: but not for 84-year-old paul neble. like a break in the stripes there is a break in the calendar for paul who only gets to celebrate his real birthday every four years. you see, paul is a leap year baby. he was born on february 29th, 1932 so it's a big day for paul who is technically turning 21 years old. >> only a milestone those guys can celebrate and this is one. it's all in good fun, you know? it's a pretty special day. >> reporter: so family and friends organized a surprise party for paul at this pub in warminister. >> i'm shocked! counting down his 21st birthday when he is finally legal! >> reporter: as he leaps into another year, he fondly looks back on some of the milestones before this one. >> my son and i were both -- had our eighth birthdays in the same year. can you imagine that. >> reporter: on the year february 29th doesn't make it on the calendar. >> i celebrate better on the 21st so i probably do get to be better. >> reporter: but he says getting so celebrate this birthday is a winning moment. >> happy bi
