paul tells me this is a relatively easy storm to fight. he's now concerned about what's next. >> i do think that over the next several squalls, flurries, things that will create we will have to be out there treating the roads. that in the cold weather is predicted for the next several days. it will be a hindrance on us. >> they'll be monitoring the weather. he says a parking ban was sput into place today and that's something to utilize in bad weather. people should be on alert for the potential for it to happen again. >> we are tracking that heavy snow moving through some of the area getting reports around boston, places like mauled in-- mauldin. there are places that have seen heavy snow an now it's coming instance. if they make it to 5-8 inches, i thought they might get to 5. this means business coming through. mauldin, summerville seeing that snow come down hard. there's had a heavier band, this is going to turn and lift north ward through the evening hours and start to wind down after midnight the there's the ocean effect that's expected to form along the coast. we will watch for those bans to see if they play a part in the snow. storm ce

paul? >> you don't like to see it, between about 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., there will be a squall line and moisture has been increasing and the cold front is along louisiana. it has already advanced of that line. light rain breaking out over the state and none of this obviously is severe. just some moisture coming back from the south and a couple of individual cells. here is a couple out of the loop feeding over warm water. they should go into the weekend as they move northeast and the squall line will be holding together. not moving into the pan handle it will be on the coast line from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., one thing that will help us tonight as far as the threat goes, it's the water temps in the eastern gulf are very cool because of a recent cold snap. that will help and limit the instability a little bit. i think there will be a potent line of rain and storms moving on shore. fairly quiet tonight and by thunderstorms around. any one of these would be heavy and by 6:00 a.m., the storms raise to the southeast and we're done. this could be a quick hitting system. not going to la
