let's get over to steve paulson now with a look at your forecast. have noticed a lot more sun this morning, steve, by far. and we finally get a fog bank that's really not that deep in coverage here compared to the weekend when it took a long time to burn off. for some, there are lots of drizzle now. there's still some areas of low clouds, but there are some noticeable breaks in cells. right? there's a lot more sun. this morning. nice. september continues. i mean, let's be honest here. no offshore wind events, no extreme heat, nothing like that. it's been cool to mild. it looks like that theme is going to continue. temps will bump up a little bit today, but still just near average. they're not going that far. 77, 79, 77 and 80. the forecast highs for san rafael, pleasant hill, san mateo and san jose 50s for a few 60s for most. now a couple locations dropped to the low 50s stanford campus. did i know mill valley compared to the last couple of mornings we had upper 50s and 60s. there were a few that were a little cooler today. a lot more sunshine today

steve paulson. that's good news. well, the weekend unseasonable cool. we rebounded a little bit, but yeah , the lows are back in the upper 40s and low 50s. palo alto is at 51. we had a much bigger fog bank yesterday. there's not a lot here today, but there's some. once that burns back then it'll be walking on the sun forever, so to speak, if you will. patchy low clouds, cooler lows, sunny for all, nice to mild to warm temperatures, though not much changing here of anything they may cool off a couple of degrees for a few days and then start to warm up. but not a big one as we head to the weekend here. so for us, a quiet pattern, 60s and 70s and 80s as san a have you heard 80 is open breaking news have you heard. yes, sir. you know, i think some people may be tuning in and not knowing that somebody just wakes up and says, is that 80 open for crying out loud? it is. there you go. that's true. yes, it is. open. you know what it is open and it's moving just as it normally would be on 80 westbound and take it all the way down to the bay bridge toll plaza and
