joining me ed and joining the conversation all morning is payne capital management president ryan payne and pollster and president of maslansky + partners, lee carter. great to see everybody this morning. ed, let's quick it off with you. what do you think drive markets in the fourth quarter? >> we have been in a classic correction. the market had a melt-up as a result of all the easy money provided by the fed and on top of that we had a very big stimulus package. unprecedented really, to have that kind of combination, some people call it modern monetary theory. whatever you call it, it's a lot of money. a trillion here and a trillion here. we had a melt-up right up to september 2nd and i think investors realize that the market was ahead of the fundamentals and that there was some concerns up ahead here like, you know, are we going to have worse virus during the fall and is the economy going to stall. we need answers for known unknowns and we will get them very shortly. we had a bit of a direction here. at end of the day if you get money out of the market, it's compelling to take advanta
