my role is to help teachers and staff, students and families make the transition to pbl. it is a new way of learns because we believe in student voice and choice. we are working hard to show them we can make change. we still have work to do. we are not there yet. we won't get there if the budget is cut. the silly think about tonight is i feel like it doesn't really matter what our voices are saying because we have been here before and the last time we were here, nothing changed because of it. the budget cuts proposed in 2017 went through. luckily our principal and community figured out a way to make our budget work. potentially we are facing another cut. you may not know me and my role or my work. i know you know our students. you know the demographics of our school who we serve. no matter the reason behind changes in enrollment our voices don't matter as much as other students and communities in the city. prove me wrong. do no harm to our budget, do no harm to our community. we have laid the groundwork for a year of growth, learning and opportunity for our students. list
