i am a pca which means patient care assistant. i have been working there since 2009. i never had any disciplinary action taken against me until last week when i was given a notice of dismissal because of an incident that occurred. out of all the employees that were present during the incident , i was the only one who got a termination letter. the city never gave me a response to the allegation against me. that week was the week of thanksgiving which gave my union exactly three days to prepare. i think it was on purpose against me. it was harsh, and it was nonnon expected. i was not given a warning, a suspension or anything. my boss went straight to determination. as i mentioned, no one else was involved who is getting terminated. ever since i received a letter from my boss, i haven't been the same. most of the stuff h.r. wrote about me and the package i received was completely untrue. the job is my only source of income that i have. that job is how i support my 1 -year-old grandson and my granddaughter who is going to nursing school. if i lose this job, me and my fami
