we not oakland pd shot two people here. i'm on ward lane in east oakland and they arrested a third person. we have been told that they initially came to this neighborhood at around 10:30 last night because they got a tip that some sort of violence was about to go down. so they shot two people. we have been told by neighbors that the people that were shot may have been shot in a car or some sort of vehicle. and then the hunt was on for this third person. they believe this person was armed so they looked for this person all night. and one neighbor describes what she heard. >> when we saw the police officers like aiming guns into the yard, kids' rooms on that side of the house we moved the kids to another room because we didn't know what was going to happen. >> again, police finally did arrest that third person, as well. so the running total, two people were shot. it appears one of those people has died and a third person under arrest right now. but the neighborhood still blocked off after the event originally took place at 10
