to pdr-1g. the zoning already prohibits housing and restricts office, so the industrial protections on overlay is not necessary anymore. and we've done a lot of outreach here to make sure that the existing thriving businesses there can proceed with their plans, etc. and we're really thinking of this just as a cleanup. the larger portion -- so going back to bayshore boulevard itself, currently it's zoned m-1, which is light industrial. and, again, the yellow line here is this industrial protection zone, which is an overlay. again, the light industrial m-1 zoning is one that is very permissive, and citywide there's been an effort to change that to the p.d.r. zonings, which are tailored to today's needs for industrial areas. as you can see, most of the bayview industrial areas have already been zoned pdr-2, and there was a desire to leave the rezoning along bayshore boulevard from when this economic development framework is in place. so the current proposal for rezoning really ties into the desire
