peach springs, you probably saw some storms rip through there. they are growing in strength, as you can see. these are fast moving storms. they are not going to cause too much problem. kayenta, rock point, up in the hopi and navajo reservations. up near page, a huge storm cell moving across lake powell, futurecast, next 24-48 hours, let's start today here, and then we'll inch a little bit closer to about 2:50 tomorrow morning, which will be overnight hours for us here, right? lots of cloud cover as you can see, storms up near the grand canyon, and then as we inch closer to the afternoon hours of tomorrow, 4:40, so early afternoon into the evening hours of tomorrow. so dinnertime, maybe, you're going to see a lot of storms here. central arizona, north of sedona, and especially north of flagstaff. and then also here in the valley, we are going to experience some of those storms a little bit closer here, you'll see some of these storm cells that will move through. this is into the afternoon hours of tomorrow, and then eventually into the evening hou

now farther to the north more shower and thunderstorm activity, mainly north of peach springs, and more along eastern portions of rim, and into the white mountains as well. here's what we expect in the valley. pretty quiet the next hour or so, then we gradually increase late night and overnight forecast. right now 93 with wind out of the east at 10 miles per hour, and our dewpoint in the mid-60, so a lot of moisture to work with, and because it's so humid it's not feeling like 93. the heat index at 97, and flail, lake air force base and -- glendale, lake air force base and goodyear feeling like the low 100s. across the state to the north, 70s in prescott, sedona, and payson. these spots tonight will flagstaff at 52, show low at 59 overnight, and highs along the rim tomorrow in the 70s. nobody 87, kingman at 90, and the hottest in northwest arizona. phoenix 97, gilbert 94, tempe 96, and chandler and apache junction at 95 tomorrow. we're also expecting a high of 95 in goodyear and litchfield park. to low # 0s. -- 80s. with the shower chance increasing overnight it could be a wet ride into
