pebble beach is a popular destination this weekend. this is the forecast, beginning with tomorrow for that at&t pebble beach a pro-am. we have a lot of sunshine on saturday. the wind could pick up a little bit by sunday. it does look good toward monterey bay. i am getting nervous talking about a system out here. here it is. this will not generate rainfall. this will cool us off a bit over the weekend. in the short term, we have this. baha'is are not moving around much. it will be around 70 degrees. over the weekend, things will cool off a little bit. we will see the northerly wind picking up. this could also impact the sierra forecast. right now, look at the numbers, in the 50s. on friday and saturday, we have a lot of sunshine. we do have a chance of snow in the sunday forecast. this is the weather pattern. we do have patchy morning fog. we have sunny skies in the afternoon. on saturday, we could see clouds drifting into the bay area. the forecast at highs tomorrow, we have a lot of 60s. san jose is at 69. we have some spots flirting

a new kind of pebble is being found on beaches from canada to cornwall, made entirely of plastic. obal pollution: plastic pebbles that contain toxic chemicals which could enter the food chain. jenny walrond reports. 0h, there's a bit of plastic. it's easy to find plastic washed up on beaches, but not all of it is obvious. this is interesting. this is actually plastic. it looks like a rock. no way. yes, it's plastic. artist rob arnold has been collecting so called plastic pebbles from beaches in cornwall to use in sculptures, and he's not short of material. well, they might look like pebbles, but they float, so clearly they are not. what i want to know is, what they are and where they come from. tests on the pebbles we found showed the plastic had been burned and contained toxic chemicals such as lead and cadmium. it suggests they come from plastics manufactured in the i980s or earlier. this is an unusual piece of pyroclastic. — —of pyroplastic. it has been colonised by tube worms. by colonising the plastic comedy tube worms are potentially able to accumulate, and the chemicals live
