you can take a look behind me, peco is working to restore power at 6th and pine. pine is blocked at 7th street where we are located. there are more than 300 outages in time area with an estimated restoration time at 6:00 p.m. 50 customers are out because of the issue. let's take a look at the video from down the street. peco says the explosion was caused by a secondary cable that was burning underground. some say it was a transformer that blew overnight. that is not the case. several people were evacuated after the explosion a around 1:30. there are several broken windows on the 700 block of pine. crews say the fire department has cleared the folks to go back into their tomorrow's. we spoke to a number of people who woke up to a loud boom. the red cross responded, the two families who had to leave their homes found a place to stay. one family said they salt in the car for a couple of hours until they were allowed back in. back here live, peco crews say they will be back here all day trying to restore power. this is is no way connected to the underground explosion
