. >>> today in the bay's peggy bunkker joins us with the story. >> reporter: it has been three weeks now that parents knew that their children were at their school. the u.s. is offering mediate assistance. >> we want our girls back now, now. >> the protests around the world continue of course in nigeria where parents are suffering through a third week. over 200 girls were loaded into trucks and taken in the middle of the night. one girl says we were sleeping at night and soldiers came in and asked us to get ready because we would soon be attacked. we were happy to be in safe hands. they were in fact in the hands of the enemy that they feared the most. jo we remain deeply concerned about the welfare of these young girls and we want to provide whatever assistance is possible in order to help return these girls to their families. this week leaders are flying into nigeria to discuss the expansion into the world. >> back to you laura. >> thank you so much. new this morning, prime minister says he wants the under water search of the victims to be done this weekend. it has been three weeks
