matt pellman has the the low down on the slow down. >> on the westbound lanes rick, first afternoon commute of august and tonight is national night out and you'll see that in many communities that could lead to street closures, at this point nothing closed or blocked along 76 just a lot of westbound traffic coming out of town past montgomery drive from this point past the boulevard and gladwyne. it doesn't help us out they are doing the milling work from city avenue no belmont. it's a bumpy ride. slowing us down. and 95 delays are cropping up and walt whitman bridge is slowing into new jersey and a crash on 42 by 676 where that comes in and that is now cleared out of the way. we are watching emergency road work in the pottstown area, 422 westbound near 724, single digit speeds there just 5 miles per hour. and you may want to use 724, stay local through pottstown and high street. over in hammonton we have a downed tree blocking northbound 54, 12th street by first road and if you keep going on the a.c. expressway up to 42 it's nice and clear this afternoon unlike this morning. lets grab the i

lets get you over to matt pellman in the traffic center. hopefully good news. >> hopefully drying out in spots around the city. if you live in philadelphia you know we were pounded by rain this afternoon. trying to take my mid-day nap, it was pouring outside. and i-95 flooding results from the heavy downpours in south philadelphia. they had to call the drain cleaning crews to come out and unclog the drains and they did that but it has cleared but delays from the airport to this point to the walt whitman bridge. 39 minutes on the northbound travel time should be half that. and a crash at bart ram avenue and speed there's in the attorneys as well. and crash in camden 672, and it jams farther south as you merge with 42. typical delays even though we dried out on the schuylkill expressway just 6 miles per hour. and a pair of accidents this afternoon in bucks county one involving a vehicle into the woods off the ramp from 13 to the northbound side of route 1 the super highway. you can squeeze by but a crash approaching the delaware river bridge.
