how is it going on 101 near the peninsula? >> it is going, lanes are open, but it's not that great because two lanes are blocked. southbound 101 and highway 92. that's because of an earlier truck accident. you can see that the debris from the truck is still in the lanes and the ramp from westbound 92 to southbound 101. it's closed, the truck has been out. that's the biggest problem driving down the the peninsula. you only have two lanes, where normally four lanes are available for you. but again we also want to mention that westbound 92, if you're leaving the san mateo bridge, you cannot get on the 101. a lot of people are getting on northbound 101, but people are getting on northbound 101, going up to third avenue and then making a u-turn getting back on the freeway southbound. and i want to mention that if you are driving on 280, it's a good alternate for you. let's move along and take a look at the commute here at i bay bridge toll plaza. no major problems. it's about a 10-minute delay. >>> if you are driving in the south b

the mountains are like a spine that runs down the korean peninsula. they are to corridors that you can go north or south, a lot of armor, mechanized forces, et cetera, runs directly all the way down into seoul. it is these two corridors that the north koreans have moved their military forces, massively moved, 70% of the forces now are sitting on these two invasion corridors. so something to think about. as my good friend generally harris would call this, he called it the tyranny of proximity. i think what this shows is that tyranny of proximity which augments this disposition of forces which augments the asymmetric capability means that the nonnuclear forces, the conventional forces, are still a significant threat. so something to think about. i won't redo the numbers because i don't want to bore everybody to death. let's talk about north korea and proliferation north korea, i think a lot of people took notice when the jenna was a nationals. last two president obama last year saying his main concern was proliferation. but i would certainly at least pa

we have an issue on the peninsula. a sigalert, i'll fill folks in coming up. >> thank you. first a warning now a massive recall. a salmonella outbreak prompting the usda to recall 36 million pounds of ground turkey, that's the same as 41 fully loaded 747 jets. health inspectors saying the tainted meat came from a cargill plant in arkansas. this has been linked to the death of one person in sacramento, at least 76 illnesses around the country including one person in san francisco county. while inspectors have the source they say they don't have enough information to recall specific brands. keep in mind, experts say the meat is still safe to eat so long as you cook to the an internal temperature of 165 degrees. again, it has been recalled this morning. >> what was supposed to be a great day out on the bay instead leaves a grieving family in its wake. one man dead, his father recovering from injuries after a large motor boat plowed into their small fishing boat. this morning investigators still looking into what caused that crash. officials say the large boat likely didn't see
