there was on the peninsula pretty good rain.t checked redwood city has had a half inch of rain. atherton's had a half inch of rain. you get in some of the higher elevations. there's been an inch of rain. santa cruz mountains now over two for many bonney dunes over two, ben loman's over two. and you can see there's more on the way. this is a perfect setup. i shouldn't say perfect, but meteorologically wise to get heavy rain, especially in the santa cruz mountains around mount tamalpais, marin county, and also up to the russian river. so far, just just blowing past a lot of these. but look at this. see this cold air to the north filtering in up here. this is kind of the key. this will start to work its way in. and then here comes the strong jet stream. that's where the pilots fly. and that's going to come together tonight. and that will really ramp up the rainfall rates. there will be some big time, maybe half inch, three quarters inch an hour. would not surprise me, especially marin county, north oakland southeast gusting to 32.
