nbc10's katy zachry is live in penns grove. tell us about the case, katy. >> reporter: rosemary, we just arrived a few minutes ago. take a look at the scene behind me. if you go in, you can see right below the step of the corner of the house in penns grove, there's significant damage. that's because a car crashed into this home earlier this morning. take a look at this video, they pulled over the car in penns grove several hours ago. they tried to pull over, however. police say the driver did not stop, continued on and didn't to a stop until the car came to a crash on this house. inside this home, two people, a man and woman married in their 70s. the woman actually is recovering from recent back surgery. fortunately, they were not in the location of the house where this car hit. they were in another place. so they are badly shaken and clearly very upset about the state of their health. here's what police say when they pulled up to that car that crashed into the house. they believe there were five people inside the car. when the

reporting live this morning in penns grove, katy zachry, nbc10 news. >>> 5:35 right now on this thursday. today, chester county will be the focus in the murder trial of eric frein. he's accused of killing a pennsylvania state trooper. >> yeah, but the trial won't be happening there. nbc10's pamela osborne is livec. pa pam, walk us through this. >> reporter: later this morning, lawyers from both sides of the capital murder case will begin jury selection. prosecutors will be looking for jurors who they say can impose the death sentence. where we are right now about 150 miles away from where eric frein is accused of of killing bryon dickson and trooper alex douglass. for 48 days frein had police on a massive manhunt, the trial will be held in chester county away from where everywhere occurred. as you remember, there was extensive news coverage which is why they're selecting jurors here. lawyers are working to deep a videotaped confession away from jurors. at 6:00, we'll tell you a little bit more about what frein allegedly wrote in a journal. that's coming up in the next half hour. reportin
