back to our breaking news in camden county 12:30, a raging tanker fire sent smoke high over pennsauken in south jersey after a tanker truck overturned. chopper 6 was over the scene. this is video from the height of the inferno. the tanker was carrying a full load of fuel before it controversy turned. this is on the other side of the ben franklin bridge the exit ramp route 90 to 130. minutes ago firefighters put chemicals on the flames as we saw live from chopper 6. the flames are diminished, but chopper 6 has seen several small flareups as we continue to watch. >> as you can see they have gotten the situation under control, they dosed it with foam. now they are putting water on the flames on the side of the road. this is an inferno that burned for about an hour before firefighters extinguished the flames. there is a neighborhood nearby people were being told to come out of their homes. people did leavement neighborhood. this was a -- leave the neighborhood, this is a haz/mat situation. route 0 near the betsy ross bridge -- 90 near betsy ross bridge, you can go to route 130. vernon odem

he is with tk transport out of pennsauken. now the environmental cleanup is underway after about 8,000 gallons of gas spilled out some of it of course burned off in that huge blast. the ref of it getting into the ground and nearby creek. the remediation is now underway which includes removing at least 3-inches of soil. we're told the area of damage about 200 yards. now as for reopening the ramp from 90 to route 1 their the plan is s to get one lane reopened but first they have to do few thing. they got to get barriers up. they flood to add notches to the road for traction because the oil made that road very slick. they also got to put in new guardrail and light. as for a timetable -- >> we believe that we'll probably be able to accomplish this a few days. it depends. it depends on issues with contractors and equipment. i think in particular one of the things that has potential to be the tricky yesterday the replace many of the lighting. >> reporter: as far as a cause of the crash still undetermine right now. we heard from neig
