tonight we're watching clusters of storms, see the big one, pennsylvania, severe weather there, parts of ohio into west virginia, just that stray shower trying to come across the region overnight but generally a quiet monday, just a hot day, back in the low to mid-90s, a stray shower or storm in the afternoon. it's the front on tuesday that i'm going to be tracking coming from the northwest. here it is in the afternoon. look at the storms trying to get to charlottesville by midday tuesday. so we'll watch for the threat for some showers and storms, but behind the front the dry air moves in tuesday night and it turns a whole lot nicer around here. tonight stray shower or storm, otherwise partly cloudy, very warm and muggy, only 80 in town, low 70s in the outer suburbs, a sticky night. tomorrow warming up quickly with 70s and 80s early, 91 to 96 in the afternoon, heat index upper 90s to the lower 100s. tuesday we'll monitor for a yellow alert for the storms, 92 wednesday, look at this, much less humid, quite nice actually, upper 80s, same story on thursday and by friday just a stray storm. next weekend upper 80s,
