a lot of peoplple have taken on that queststion. from a practical point of view, here is what i will tell you. if you want to try and devop a multiservice airplane that is going to meet a vast range of requirements, each of the services or partners in the agreement had better be willing to comprpromise at some point in time. if the airplane is common to all of them, it cannot be e everythg to everybody. if you go in with a mindset that says i am willing to compromise on ctain things, you have a chance of creating a common airplane for ltiservice use. when it comes to those reququirirements, if folks are t ready to compromise, it will be very difficult. second thing is you shod never stt a complicated technological program with the big bang theory where you think you can get it all done in one big shot becacause it is not gog toork that way. we would be much betterr served to startrt off in smaller increments with le risk and build on that to get to a final capality. technology changes over time and the threat changes over time. if y
