"action news" reporter waltder perez is live at the norristown police station with more on this story. >> reporter: hi sara, investigators are trying to determine a motive behind the shooting which someone walked up to a car with at least one person inside and simply opened fire. >> it was right around 9:00 last night when neighbors along the 1200 block of locust street reported a commotion. >> i heard it and it sounded like firecrackers. >> but that sound was indeed the sound of gun fire, a vehicle pulled up three miles away at the lukoil gas station at plymouth meeting, the clerk saw someone badly injured and called 911. the victim was taken to the hop where he died a few hours later. the neighbors in the area say the senseless gun violence has to stop. >> you have a lot of outside people moving in and they have not adjusted to a way of life that you don't have to carry a gun and shoot at everybody. >> there are reports of a second person inside of that vehicle that was shot and wounded and neither the montgomery county prosecutors office or the police have confirm that information.

we begin, though with cnn justice reporter evan perez.ouse hacker attack. evan you broke this story. tell our viewers what your sources are saying. >> wolf those russian hackers got access to sensitive parts of the white house's e-mail system. they could even see the president's schedule nonpublic parts of it in realtime. they got access to this all in a clever way through the state department. once they got in there, they used that access to trick someone to get into the executive office of the president. now, investigators tell me wolf this is one of the most serious cyberattacks they have seen against the u.s. government and it's something that -- it's one reason why they've increased warnings about the threat from russia. >> was the information that the russians presumably obtained from the state department and the white house classified information? >> well it wasn't. when the white house first disclosed this back in october, they described it as suspicious activity and said it affected an unclassified e-mail system. ben rhodes in th

walter perez explains. >> it's truly a tragedy. >> they are talking about the freak accident that took the life of bus driver, bonnie jean novak, she finished her shift and had gotten into her late model volkswagon, it was giving her trouble and she got out and left the car in neutral but the parking lot is sloped. >> the vehicle was coasting through the lot and the vehicle was trying to stop the vehicle and it made her fall underneath or in between the vehicles. >> novak slipped trying to stop the vehicle from the outside because it was her head that became trapped between the bumpers of her vehicle and the vehicle she collided into it. they say that novak was a kind hearted person and was a good friend to coworkers. >> watching our drivers come together and grieve together and share stories and celebrate her, it's been really impactful. >> we had four or five drivers that didn't come to work today counselors are on site and they have been here since 6:00 this morning, all eastern schools are open on delay today her family is notified and funeral arrangements are pending. walter perez
