santa rosa three-quarters of an inch of rain not quite that amount in petaluma.owntown san francisco and a third of inch in napa and no valley. remove to upper spots in the bay area virtually no rain fall. it oakland under 10th of an inch of rainfall. sfo barely registering rain fall. nothing on the radar for san jose. the reason why is our storm has remained virtually parked in the same spot so we keep seeing the rain fall filtering up through the coastal locations up to the north bay. will see the light showers over the north bay right now and not very heavy rainfall petaluma may get a 10th of an inch of rainfall. you can see this motion of the storm began it's not moving that while it continues to motion ought to the northeast. the storm should progress up to the south as well as basically has removed all that much. here's the core of the storm it's about here yesterday so about 30 mi. in 24 hours. this will push through overnight we will see drier conditions into tomorrow and temperatures a little bit warmer out there tomorrow may be in the '60s. 63 in nassau

about 4100ths in petaluma, san rafael and a third in napa. more moisture offshore and this is going to ride over our neighborhoods mainly north of the golden gate through the morning hours and a heavier push of rain tonight through tomorrow morning. maybe a few sprinkles in the east bay valley but the bulk will be from san francisco and oakland northward. been causing problems with accidents. here's frances. >> we had a lot of accidents early this morning 4:00 and 5:00 hour. it's actually decreased for the 6:00 hour. that's good news but metering lights are on at the bay bridge toll plaza. starting to back up beyond the ends of the parking lot. there was early flooding in carpool lanes, the extension but that has been cleared as well. we'll check the san mateo bridge next. it's looking good. more cars on the road means that we're seeing cars slow down a little and maybe that's why we're seeing fewer accidents. also across the golden gate bridge roads are slick and there is an overturn crash much farther north southbound 101 at north cloverdal
