here are the latest numbers we're getting according to petaluma police. they have responded to close to 19 narcotic related overdose calls and there have been three deaths in that six-month period. incidents are her owe inrelated but they have seen an increase in fentanyl, powerful and deadly if improperly used. i did look into the overall numbers when it comes to opioid deaths in all of california and which county are seeing the highest numbers. here is what i was able to find. these are the latest numbers as of 2016. they are coming to you from the california health care foundation. you can see on your television screen there there have been more than 2,000 opioid overdose deaths in 2016. 237 of those are fentanyl related overdose deaths and of the major counties, san francisco with the highest total in 2016 with 94 deaths, not listed on the screen yet, santa clara county reported 68 deaths and lowest number of deaths when you look at the major counties in the bay area was right here in nmarin, 14 deaths in 2016. that's with the latest petaluma incident

this is the aftermath of a plane crash in petaluma. it all started about 7:00 last night when officers got a call about a plane that activated its emergency transponder about the same time a woman called petaluma police and said her husband was flying from petaluma to san diego and had not made it home. deputies found the crashed plane in a ravine. they identified the pilot as colonel carlton morrison. heavy rain probably disoriented him and led to the crash. morrison was a vietnam vet and a member of the civil air patrol. he lived in san diego county. >> police have identified a body found near grizzly peak in the oakland hills yesterday. the coroner's office found 53-year-old yun kim dead near a car that went over an embankment. it was connected to a missing person's case. not clear if the person found dead near the car was reported missing, but kim recently visited her boyfriend who lives near the crash skite. not clear when she crashed. the investigation is ongoing. >> fallout for facebook. the cambridge analytica scandal still mak

we have our radar up and you could see in the north bay santa rosa and rohnert park and petaluma and novato will start getting moderate to heavy downpours where you see the yellow and red cells, if i could turn your attention to this, it is pretty important, that atmospheric river off the coast now it is showing it taking aim far off to the north and this is going to stall a little bit over the north bay which means if you live in the north bay you are going to get slammed, which is why we're looking out for flood concerns and mudslide concerns. now if you live down near the south bay, the santa cruz mountains are going to be taking -- you could see where the green and darker green further down on the this map -- santa cruz mountains will take the majority of the rain and then it climbs over the mountains and san jose falls in the rain shadow. so if you live in the south bay, san jose or santa clara, you think it is not raining or pouring, that is the reason why. but if you live in san francisco or the east bay, get ready because the rain is expected to continue within the next coupl
