from the north bay near santa rosa, petaluma, novato. we are in the 80s. it's a warm day. it's beautiful if you ask me. along the peninsula, golden gate bridge, into san francisco, 70 degrees. we are hitting our daytime high right now as we speak. we head more south along 101 into areas like san jose and los gatos, 80s are expected and we crank up the heat more in inland areas. fairfield and brentwood, you are in the 90s. it's a nice warm day if you ask me. we do have the cold front moving in and temperatures will dip down a little bit more. i am talking a lot about this cold front but it doesn't need to be too scary. it's a dry one. temperatures are in the 90s today in inland areas. we will jump down to the 80s tomorrow and it averages a little bit into our wednesday and thursday forecast. it cools down a smudge more into our weekend set up. watch what happens as i pull up the bay. mind me, i am also getting used to this. here with go into the afternoon hours, 70s along the bay. it averages out halfway through the week and cools down nicely for the weekend. on the bright

there are a few 40s west of petaluma for a couple of mid 40s. they're also in the santa cruz mountains, petaluma itself at 51, but just to the west i did see about 46, 47. i think woodside's right at 50, but atherton, menlo park and stanford all at 51. los altos 52. we are running a little cooler than 24 hours ago for most, except for napa airport and half moon bay. but livermore is minus seven, santa rosa minus five. we had a much bigger fog bank yesterday, so we're under the clear skies. we've dip into the 40s for a few of a lot of low 50s, 39 south lake tahoe, mammoth at 36, truckee at 43. they were all in the 30s yesterday. there's just a series of these little lows kind of working their way in. keep us from warming up too much after an unseasonably cool weekend and as you know, there was a lot of rain, thunderstorms up in the mountains, northern california, not the case now. looks quiet here for the next 7 to 10 days. inland temps will begin to bump up. but the pattern, i mean, there's no sign of any extended heat for us or any offshore str
