cooler in the north bay valleys, down to 39 degrees for the one spot in the upper 30s in petaluma, you will be one of the many spots in the lower 70s tomorrow afternoon. up to 73 degrees in concord, mostly lower 70s inland with a mix of 60s, lower 70s around the bay and middle 60s along the coast. the warmest spots in the santa clara valley, getting into the middle up toker 70s. these are the warmest temperatures that we are going to see for awhile. not like we are in for a sudden drop in temperatures from wednesday to thursday. it will be a step down over the next few days. still above average for the end of the workweek on friday with a chance of a passing shower. you look at the 10 day outlook, there is the big drop that happens over the weekend. talking about highs in the 50s for several consecutive days when we are supposed to be in the middle portion of the 60s. starting off in march on a cool note, increasing odds, it will be a wet pattern returning to the bay area as well. the rain chart, the green, continuing to expand every time we get a new batch of data. the outside chance,

but just barely. 30 degrees for petaluma and napa. temperatures climb up from a couple of degrees above normal to as many as a half dozen degrees above average. mid to upper 60s if the north bay. a mix of upper 50s and low 60s along the coast with low to mid 60s around the bay. some of the warmer spots around san jose. we will get all the way up to around 70 degrees by tomorrow afternoon. with even warmer temperatures in store as we head into the weekend. we'll see more spots inland getting up into the low 70s . the next chance of rain is pretty far down the line. but let's take a look way ahead with our long range forecast model. we have the american and european model so we can compare and contrast. there are still a lot of dis agreements. we are looking at next thursday night into early friday morning. the european forecast model tries to sneak in a few. american forecast model keeps us completely dry. they agree that we are mostly going to be dry as we begin the month of march on saturday, but then, they have some bigger disagreem
