i get all that, i see that here, but we don't see pete arredondo at all. we see a dps trooper in some instances, a texas ranger giving orders to several people. so we have been told this narrative that the school cop that is in charge of the cafeteria school fights in charge, but i don't even see him on this video which raises yet another round of questions. my hope is that what is next is we get the full picture, do we get the videos that i have seen, i saw three minutes early on in the first week inside of a dps technical trailer. and i saw the sheer power of the ar 15 as it tore through that construction material. so no matter the police stayed out. it is unfortunate that the little babies had to deal with all that and had to be the brave one in the scene. >> reporter: the question is on accountability, it sounds like you want to know more about this. i think one of things you have done is file a lawsuit, you are suing dps, basically, for not releasing more. you want to see the shooting records, et cetera police say in the suit, the state of texas faile

there was also a lot of parents talking about police chief pete arredondo asking the school districthe is still on administrative leave. when someone would mention pete arredondo, others would yell from the back if he was going to get fired or keep his job. and that was very difficult. the superintendent did say that they will take into consideration the findings of this report and they will have a closed meeting to make a decision on pete arredondo's future. and part of the reason why they had this meeting was also to talk about what the district is going to do moving forward, what security measures are going to be taken to improve security at the schools. so the superintendent has already given a list of what they know that they will do. they will be installing a new perimeter fencing, they also plan to upgrade the doors and locks which have been discussed a lot because some weren't working properly according to that report. they also plan to install new cameras. they want to add more police officers. and also include more training for those officers. but when the school district m

according to this report chief pete arredondo actually wrote the active shooter policy. he wrote in himself as the incident commander but, according to this report, he didn't take on that role on that ill-fated day. it says that he not only didn't take the role, he didn't transfer command of the scene to any other officer which, according to this report, could have been done in this case in this jurisdiction. now the report is much broader than this. it does not just point the finger at arredondo. it also says that there were hundreds of police officers who responded to the scene, and it points out those trained police officers then did not question that command. they didn't question that there was no incident commander, that there was no incident command post when in the policy that arredondo wrote it specifically states he wrote in there the administration office was going to be the incident command post but, of course, none of that happened, and hundreds of police officers responded to the scene and the training didn't kick in. that's what this report says, that it's
