officer pete c c i started in law enforcement in october of 1969 and i ultimately got hired on in denver and my wife, deborah got hired on aurora p.d. in the latter part of july-- or june, rather-- of 1980. deborah was killed in the line of duty. shooting. couple months after that i got shot on the job here in denver. i still like the job.
