cnn's pete muntean reports, investigators are looking into the suspect's social media posts and found some worrying details in them. >> reporter: investigators are just now digging into the past of 25-year-old noah green, and what may have inspired him to carry out the attack on the capitol here on friday. what's so interesting are his social media posts. we have discovered an instagram account that appeared to have belonged to green where he made a trio of disturbing posts leading up to that attack. one of the posts says, quote, i have suffered multiple home break-ins, food poisonings, unauthorized operations, and mind control. another post, a meme, the image of the leader of the nation of islam. the text says, the u.s. government is the enemy of black people. a third post describes, quote, terrible afflictions by the cia and fbi. green went to christopher newport university in newport news, virginia, not far away from here. we're told he played football there. some of his fellow players tell us they saw similar posts like the ones i described on his facebook account, some as recentl

. >>> cnn's pete muntean is live at reagan national airport. what's the latest there? >> reporter: the tsa screened 1.85 million people across the country on friday. that's a record since the pandemic. we should get numbers for sunday later on today. but just to put this in the context, three of the last seven days, we've seen 1.5 million people passing through america's airports. these numbers are about 800% greater but still only two-thirds of numbers from 2019 pre-pandemic. the numbers are big enough that delta had to actually fill some middle seat over the weekend to keep up with demand. it said it had to cancel about a hundred flights because of staffing issues. it says it will stop doing that may 1st, but it had do this a little bit early over the weekend. numbers only go up from here. the cdc says only fully vaccinated americans can travel with low risk to themselves, but the cdc is still advising against travel and says if you do travel, be smart, wear a federally mandated mask at a terminal and on a plane. >> pete muntean modeling right now at the terminal wit

let's straight to cnn aviation correspondent pete muntean, this is guidance a lot of people have beenaiting on, what are we learning, pete? >> reporter: the cdc is telling people who are fully vaccinated they can travel with low risk to themselves, but the cdc is still not recommending travel for non-essential purposes, even still this is a huge development, one that was notably absence from cdc guidance for vaccinated individuals that came out back on march 8th. the cdc is telling domestic travelers they do not need to self-quarantine after their trip and do not need to get tested for coronavirus before and after their trip. international travelers still need to show proof of a negative coronavirus test to their airline before coming to the united states. all travelers, though, the cdc says, need to remain smart and vigilant, still need to wear federally mandated masks on board planes and in terminals. and still need to socially distance. even still, it is a huge win for major air lines. travel numbers are already riding high. 22 straight days of more than a million people passing th
