lisa myers is at the courthouse in greensboro and registered voter in north carolina and pete williamsers. lisa, describe the scene yesterday of the elation that john edwards expressed all the way around. >> well, john edwards when he heard hit the verdict leaned back and a sense of relief washed over him and then once he was able to, he gave a long hug to his daughter, kate, who has been a rock and been by his side every moment and hugged his parents and hugged his lawyers and especially his lead counsel who asked him, you know, to take some chances and they clearly paid off. it was a highly emotional day. i mean at one point when we had word that the verdict came in, cate edwards sat there for an hour holding her grandfather's hand. >> you know, pete williams, the justice department has to make a decision now to retry on the other five counts and we have been reporting and it's unlikely that they're going to do that. this morning on "today" show we had three jurors on and all three raised their hand when matt lauer asked them, do you believe that john edwards is guilty of something?
