bringing in pete surato. i know we heard from the update tonight that they made some gains today and they feel confident in fighting that fire. what are le creuseting of the success today and the next couple of days will be like? >> reporter: of course they are looking to the shifting winds to the northeast. we are standing here in the west, a little bit of a concern. they're worried for that dry lightning and of course they're saying firefighters have been stretched fairly thin. i know i mentioned in the last report they were anywhere from 72 to 96 hours. some of those firefighters even having their lunch break on the fire line. while they made some progress today. they know these fires and winds are shifting. very important when we talk about the spread of wildfires and containment. they're keeping an eye on thatn tomorrow, there's concerns could be a repeat of what we saw last week. all of this that impacted wildfires and dry lightning last week. now that's something we are looking forward to. >> pete, it
