i know peter albert is probably here. the comment i had and i brought it up to people one impact you're going to have is coming from the east bay and many will drive and the quicker you get them into a parking facility and not driving in san francisco the better. one thought right now you can come back on the bridge from bryant street from where sea lot 330 is and can't get off but maybe possible to get a ramp built and drop people into a parking structure there and the same with fremont and folsom and you're a little farther away but the more you think about accommodating the traffic that come to events and have the least involvement on the waterfront or in city streets with their cars that would be a good solution to come up with. i had a couple of other thoughts on the entire thing. i'm not quite sure what the entry is supposed to look like. i had heard from earlier comments we were going to try to simulate some of the entries of the traditional piers. it doesn't look like that but i think that would be a very nice tou

peter albert from the sfmta and aaron miller are leading up a city wide and a regional wide effort to do a waterfront transportation assessment that is looking at all of the development that is planned for and predicted along the waterfront to pier 70 and north to green street and half mile inland and understanding what is the development that is proposed? what are the transportation infrastructure improvements that are already planned? what may need to be augmented and refined and developed in order to serve this area of the city as successfully as possible with all modes of transportation, not just ones controlled by the city, but looking our regional partners including water base transportation. that waterfront district transportation assessment we would like to come to you and actually do a presentation on where that process is as well. there is a lot of focus on the arena because it's geographically located in the center of the assessment but also because of the conversations that are happening at the cac around this project so while it is not designed simply to address the impac

i think that we as mike mentioned we benefit from peter albert's work on the water front assessment which is helping to inform the traffic thinking for the site. and the other sites along the water front. and this has been a key issue we found with the adjacent neighborhoods that transit through this part of the city could be improved from their perspective. both in terms of scheduling, operations, and ongoing operational maintenances of the infrastructure. so we think that this project in concert with the other projects as detailed in the water front transportation assessment will point the way to real and significant transit improvements for this part of the water front. including the potential of allow a turn back for the e-line cars that will be coming to this part of the water front and an early turn back increases the ridership capacity of that line and makes it more viability. it is exciting potential uses of this. you may remember that it shows sketched of what that might look like and that idea is coming back full circle to do something that could be viable and it will keep you a
