peter albert will be joining us shortly he'll come in and we'll all think around for questions. as you may remember craig was here talking about the second phase of pierce thirty and 32. you'll see six months of intensive review from comments b from public agrees and the planning department and the mta. there's a collaborative effort from agency that have jurisdiction in the promise. at the end of the august the planning department provided form comments inform the warriors team on the second reiteration to make sure we incorporated the comments into the design on the open space connections on the piers and on the scale and interests of the sort of perimeter access along the edges of the pier. and probably most important to us the sort of articulation of the main entrance as you're walking from downtown at the intersection with the embarcadero. so we've included copies of that memo in your packets i believe in august, august 23rdrd. i can provide you another copy. so with that we'll get to the order of business. i'll turn this over to envy colleagues. we'll be here after the pre

albert has anything to add >> peter albert. there's two ways i've working with the waterfront transportation network. one we're developing the waterfront assessment. that's looking at all the modes of transportation. so we're making sure we're looking at the big picture. the second capacity is more warriors specific. on the transportation resource board for the subcommittee the warriors as they develop transportation recommendations they're trying to get ahead of the review so if there's a measure they can get the agencies involved and the second is to recommend development agreements or improvements that did warriors might entertain as part of the project. you've seen some of the transportation strategies they've shown in the design leaving room for bicyclists not having to cross traffic. you're looking at this parking facility not coming in into warriors arena. the site you mentioned the one at beal that's being happened in conversation by o e w d and caltrans. i'm interested in parking farther away using commercial garages t

. >> peter albert. thanks. and what i hope helps to clarify is that we approach the water assessment is the first phase was developing the strategies and the second was to analyze the solution and where we are getting so much help with this study and i appreciate liz coming to one of our meetings and talking about it is that we intended to do this analysis and that we have had the ongoing part of your workshops and community meetings but you are helping us, and you do it much more quicker using the same modeling tools and so i see this as pushing forward, ahead of schedule what we are hoping to do and with the full skill sets of the authority which are considerable and i hope that understanding that this was phase two of the assessment and the work that the authority is doing, that would have happened concurrently with the ier now proceeds the eir. >> i want to note for the record that we have been joined by the former mayor who is here and i guess that i do still have a concern that we are not binding ourselve

commissioners and this time line, is useful and just showing a process, and you just heard from peter albert about the phase one of the work that has been under way and was really focused on identifying a list of potential strategies, that might be available to address the transportation impacts created by the developments. ask as that phase is coming to conclusion, we have been scoping the next phase that comes into more detail. >> and so the scope will be that the transportation authority will be the water front assessment. and a note about the timing, this is off of the environmental impact report for the arena and we were waiting for the most recent design, 3.0 that gives us more clarity on what the proposed project is and so that we can analyze the impact. that the work will be complete before the impact report is published and to finish the work in the spring and now i will talk about the meat of what we will be doing. we will look at existing condition and we will two years in the future and a 2020 and 2040 horizon year and we will look at two land use scenario and one is our base lin
