peter d'oench live in jackson memorial. you spoke with family members. how is the way of doing? she's out of surgery and out of any danger. they also tells her condition is stabilized and the ballista not hit any vital organs. they say they are stumped. this was unexpected. neighbors agree. >> reporter: i'm surprised it happened sent this woman who lives next to the crime scene at 1280. shortly after 10:thursday night they responded to a violent domestic dispute. 67-year-old andres gutierrez shot his wife and his mother-in-law. and then took his own life. his wife and mother-in-law were airlifted to jackson memorial hospital where the mother-in- law died. they were good neighbors she said. they stayed inside the house and never bothered anyone. nobody said anything bad about them. >> it's not clear why this happened. there were other people inside the home at the time. this man who went to the house did not want to say anything. and no one came to the front door when we knocked. other neighbors said they had not seen any problems at this home. police spent the morning checking i
