>>> let's bring in republican strategist and peter emerson, a "huffington post" contributor who's worked for three democratic administrations. noel, as we take a look at the video from boston, these massive crowds, really, police estimating, what, 15,000 to 20,000 people. how bad is this for the president? >> well, i mean, you know, you've got to realize right now, we live in a movement culture. i mean, it's very popular to be part of a movement no matter which side it's on. is it good for the president? no. but let's look even beyond that, alex. it's bad for the country. i mean, division doesn't really help anyone. while i understand, you know, i understand some of the protests, i understand some of the groups and i understand that -- their message. i understand that, but these are not -- these are not really helping people in the long run, and i know peter's going to disagree with me, but we've got a lot of things going on. we've got health care. we've got people that need health care, alex. we've got to come together and pass that, you know?
