>> well, when peter mendelsohn was talking with travel phillips an hour ago, this is about, in his viewis frame, in the labour party stop doing stupid things. now the job of keir starmer at this conference, is to take the five missions that he's talked about, the mission to grow the economy and so on, and to make them a bit more real. so this morning, the labour party fleshed out two of those missions we had. announcement on waiting list, offer doctors more overtime in order to create too many appointments. they're making clear they're going to build 1.5 million more homes. that led to another one of the missions. this week is all about giving a little bit more detail behind the kind of broader, a loftier goals that the labour party has been talking about in the first part of this year. bluntly, nick, this moment is about trying to excite the electorate, excite the country and unite potential supporters behind keir starmer. the party's been saying since mid august that we know people are fed up with the tories. that's fairly evident from opinion polls. we've got to give people a positiv
