>>reporter: i'm peter van sant with 48 hours, a beloved teacher and former beauty queen went missing from her home here in osceola georgia more than a decade ago. then a >>> new revelations are coming to light the disappearance of a woman in georgia. tonight 48 hours peter van sant reports on some new important leads which authorities may have missed.>>reporter: from the day that tara grinstead despair from her home in 2005 the small town of ocilla georgia has been consumed with one question, what really happened to tara grinstead? neighbor janice pope.>> she was a well-liked high school teacher.>> she went to a cookout and then went home and nobody has seen her since.>> for years the case remained a mystery, but this man, john mccullough, said back in 2007 he tried to share with authorities information that he believed could have solved the case. he said a buddy he met in the army named bo dukes told him he knew who killed tara. >> he told me that his friend evidently strangled her and he needed help getting rid of the body so he called the police department. this is john mccullough

on friday, we spoke with peter van sant who is covered the case for 48 hours. >> we learned there wasa detective at the meridian put the department who put together his own report. he said this case should be investigated as a homicide. me but the new prosecutor know about this, she has agreed to reconvene a new grand jury to hear about this evidence we told her about. the family has been working this for years. the death occurred in 2014. they believe one's the detective report is presented to the grand jury, with belief the crime scene had been altered and the body had been moved to. of course, that does not happen in a suicide they believe it will lead to indictments, arrests and eventually, a trial. >> you could see peter's report tonight at 10:00 right here on kpix 5. >>> california's labor market has not bounced back as quickly as other parts of the country. our len kiese asked scott anderson, the chief economist for bank of the west if there is a positive outlook for the bay area economy >> but the second half of the year, we think the reopening of service businesses, the vacci
