captain headset, were you with general petraeus in mosul? >> i did not have a chance to serve with him. >> i was with the 101st in mosul and they had alabama national guard attached to them at that time. you talked about coming in the back door and captain youngblood having to dine in the kitchen and not sit out front. do you think, you are yale, you are harvard, you are notre dame, do you think that that policy, setting aside the impact it may have had, sent a message of some kind to veterans in the recruiters that have come off the battlefield? >> that message very clearly is that your service to the country and protect the constitution is not valued. >> it certainly was not a message of support. i know she met with veterans on veterans day and honor them on public occasions. we learned that lesson from vietnam vet so we did not honor. it is a whole other thing when you take actions on their behalf to elevate their service, show fellow classmates that entering the military, going into the jagged corps, being an army lawyer is a way to cont

the way i see it, general petraeus is a really great american. a heck of a military individual. he is the right r guy over ther. too bad it is too late. if they would've went in with him in the beginning, with that type of strategy, we would not be in the situation we are in right now. this was to get bush through two cycles, two terms of presidency and met military complex to get a payday. there is no oversight by congress. there are just too many things wrong about this for us to risk our heart, our soul, and our blood to continue to fight and insane, instable civil war over there thathe no one will really face up too. >> i do not like the statement and i disagree with the fact too bad it is too late. i think when you're fighting a war of this scale with an enemy that's declared warcl on this ad ran planes into buildings and 2001 and we are talk about al qaeda. people push back from that we are talk about iraq. but now at this point of the same people we have in iraq. to say too bad, too late we've unfortunately lost 3600 troops and it is time to go home. it's a shortsighted p
