pets. dr. tony kremer is here to talk about that, and something called *black cat syndrome. >> a black cat and black dog syndrome. i always find it interesting when we come across something that we see frequently but no one has heard much about. that's exactly this situation. when it comes down to is black hats and black dogs are the last animals to be adopted in shelters. they spent the longest time before they get adopted and they're the most euphemized pets in shelters all over the country. we'd look at that and say why? what kind of discrimination is going on. we need to put an end to it. what it boils down to is that there are superstition's against black casts. we have heard that. with black dogs and i think in a lot of movies, black dogs and dark animals are sometimes depicted as the mean animal in a movie. maybe it comes from something like that. some of the more practical things we see here we see a lot of people who choose their pet by appearance. probably not the best way to pick you
