there will be two options, pfizer and moderna.erna's vaccine consists of two shots that are given four weeks apart, the doses are smaller, 25 micrograms. that is a quarter of the dosage given to adults. pfizer is a three shot regimen with the first two shots given three weeks apart and that is followed by a third dose eight weeks later. pfizer's vaccine for kids under five is also a lower dosage than what adults get, three micrograms versus 30. >> pfizer is banking on a much lower dose because they wanted to make sure that there wasn't a lot of side effects. in fact moderna uses a higher dosage. they are both very effective and you can again, get very similar efficacy with two shots on moderna as of the three shots of pfizer. pfizer went back to the table because two shots at 1/10 the dose wasn't as good as -- you know as they expected. so instead of giving a high dose, restarting the trial, let's give a third shot and lo and behold, it seems to work really well, compared to kids who are older. >> there you go, doctors say that tr
